Niamh Flanagan is a London based milliner of Irish descent who produces intricate, hand made hats and head pieces. Niamh’s designs are based on creatively blending vintage styles with the contemporary, producing something that looks to the future for women’s headwear. Hats by Niamh are haute couture creations giving you a hand made and unique piece of headwear. Often architectural and sculptural they all enjoy delicate hand-stitching and contain carefully sourced vintage brooches, beads and feathers. Each individual hat is designed using the exact materials and colours that are matched to your needs.

Niamh takes inspiration from a wide range of artistic sources including Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Post-Impressionism and Modernism. She also cites ‘English eccentricity’ and individuality as being a key driver for her designs; this was reinforced whilst spending many years working in and around London’s Saville Row.

Currently Niamh provides individual pieces for English and international clients for a wide range of formal events and artistic projects.
